What I Actually Do for Work
One thing about my work is that it is never really the same day twice.
One day I’m coordinating UGC for brands, finding new creators and pairing them with clients who are looking for real, verified creators. The next, I might be writing for a charity, shooting a model for one of my clients, or stepping in front of the camera myself to create content for a brand.
There’s a lot of variety, and honestly, that’s one of my favourite parts of what I do.
Today, I’m taking you behind the scenes of one specific part of my work: how I create content batches for brands that want great content without needing full social media management.
The Brand
This particular client is a Canadian perfume brand that I’ve been working with for the last few months.
They shipped their products to me, and from there, I started building out the creative direction.
First, I put together a moodboard for them to review. This gives the brand an idea of the overall look, feeling, styling and direction before anything is shot.
Once they approve it, I take it into the studio.
From Moodboard to Content
For these shoots, I usually combine product photography with editorial lifestyle content.
If the brand wants to use my likeness, I’ll also model for the shoot and create images where I’m wearing, holding or interacting with the products.
I like this combination because it gives the brand more than just standard product photos. They get content that feels polished and editorial while still being personal and usable for social media.
Once everything is photographed and edited, I put together a mock feed for the brand.
Think of it as a really easy self posting guide.
Instead of handing a brand a folder full of random photos and saying, “Here you go,” I show them how the content can actually come together on their feed.

Then They Get the Content
Once payment is completed, I send the finished content batch over to the brand so they can use it for their own social media.
No ongoing management.
No need for them to send me captions every week.
No constant approvals.
They get their content and can post it themselves.
Why I Started Offering Content Batches
I currently have around 20 solo clients using these types of content batches.
I realized there was a really useful middle ground for brands.
Some businesses don't need full social media management. They don't necessarily need someone handling their account every week, but they do need good content.
Full social media management can easily become a much larger monthly investment, especially for brands looking for a more involved package.
Content batches give brands another option.
They can get professional photos, UGC, editorial content and a cohesive feed without committing to a full management package.
For me, it works really well too.
I can bring my own creative direction and my own look into the content, work on my own schedule, shoot in my studio, and deliver everything as one organized batch.
And because I’m creating the content myself, I don't necessarily need to coordinate an outside model for every shoot.
It's become one of my favourite things to offer because it feels like a really natural middle ground between “I just need some good content” and “I need someone to completely manage my social media.”
A Little Behind the Scenes
This is also a good example of what my work actually looks like.
There isn't really one job title that covers everything I do.
I'm a creator. I'm a photographer. I'm a model. I'm a social media manager. I'm a creative director. Sometimes I'm a writer. Sometimes I'm coordinating creators for brands.
And sometimes I'm doing all of those things in the same week.
That's what I love about it.
I get to build something different every day, work with different brands and find creative ways to help them show up online.
And this Canadian perfume brand has honestly been one of the brands I've really enjoyed working with over the last few months.
So, that's a little look behind the scenes at what I actually do for work. 🤍
