Come Spend a Day With Me

A lot of my days are a balancing act.

I’m a mom, a wife, a business owner, a creator, and a dreamer. Some days I feel like I’m doing everything at once, and honestly, it can be hard.

I’m still breastfeeding throughout the day and waking up during the night with my daughter. Most mornings, I’ll wake up with her whenever she needs me, feed her one last time, and then hand her over to Dad so I can get a few hours of uninterrupted sleep.

Mason takes the kids in the morning so I can have that little bit of time to sleep, reset and actually start my day.

So, here’s what a pretty typical day looks like for me.

5:00 AM — Mom Mode

I wake up with my daughter around 5 AM.

I feed her one last time before giving her to Dad for the morning. Mason takes over with the kids so I can get some much needed sleep.... Nami wakes up 4x a night at 6 months. Cryingggg

9:00–10:00 AM — Wake Up

I finally wake up around 9 or 10.

Mason usually makes breakfast, which honestly makes mornings so much easier. Having someone take something off your plate, even something as simple as breakfast, makes a difference.

10:30 AM — Feed

Back to mom mode.

I feed my daughter and get myself ready to actually start the day.

11:00 AM — Emails

This is when work starts.

I go through my emails, reply to clients, check what needs to be done and start organizing everything I have going on.

There is always something.

12:00 PM — Lunch + Nap

Lunch time and nap time.

My daughter goes down for a nap while I grab something to eat and get ready to actually focus on work.

12:00–2:00 PM — Client Work

This is usually my most focused work window.

I’m editing client content, scheduling posts, posting for accounts I manage, organizing social media and working through whatever needs to be done that day.

A lot of what I do happens behind the scenes, so this part of my day can look pretty boring from the outside, but there’s always something moving.

2:30 PM — Everyone Is Awake

The nap is over.

Both kids are up, which means it’s time to switch gears again.

3:00–5:00 PM — Studio Time

This is where work gets a little more fun.

We pack the whole family into the car and head to the studio.

Mason helps take photos of me when I can't shoot them myself.. helps with outfit changes.. and I’ll work on UGC, product content and whatever else I need to create that day.

Meanwhile, Sabo is running around and Nami hangs out with us.

It definitely isn't the picture perfect, quiet studio day you might imagine, but I actually love having my family around while I work.

5:30 PM — Dinner

Dinner can go one of two ways.

We either go out or Mason makes dinner at home.

Having a partner who cooks is something I appreciate more than I probably say enough.

6:00 PM — Upload Everything

Back to work.

I upload the content we took at the studio and get everything organized while the day is still fresh.

7:00 PM — Bedtime

I put Nami to bed while Mason puts Sabo to bed.

This is usually when the house starts getting a little quieter.

7:30 PM — Night Routine

Finally, I get to slow down for a minute.

Night routine, getting things ready for tomorrow and trying to reset the house and my brain.

8:00–11:00 PM — Work Again

And then... I'm back at it.

I work for another few hours, whether that's finishing client work, editing, planning content, answering messages or getting things organized for the next day.

By the time I’m finished, I’m exhausted.

But I’m also really grateful.

My life isn't perfectly balanced. Some days I feel like I’m constantly switching between being Mom, being a wife, working, creating and trying to make my own dreams happen.

But I think that's what this season of my life is.

It’s messy. It’s busy. It’s tiring.

And it’s mine.

Welcome to a day in my life. 🤍
